With a company’s capital of Euros 3.800.000,00, Eco Controllo S.p.A. contradicts the defect of all Italian companies to create strongly undercapitalized companies. The interests of Eco Controllo SpA concern the area of digital image “compression” (particularly video, that is images in motion), that’s why we have realized, on the base of new and recent proprietary algorithms, systems that generate significant benefits .
From a specific technical point of view, the so called “compression” consists of algorithms and mathematical models making it possible to transcribe
the digital information efficiently, so that they can occupy as little space in
the mass storage or band transmission.
However, from a strictly business point of view, it seems simplistic to consider
compression only as a system to save storage, in fact an appropriate
compression can promote applications that otherwise would be absolutely
unrealizable (as the current television broadcastings on digital platform, that
would not be possible without the use of the compression models).
Internal tests on the innovative “compression” systems of Eco Controllo, have been carried out with great success.
Further sessions of tests – for a heated debate between the proprietary technology and competing
technologies – have been committed to CeRICT, a pool joined by the University of Sannio, the
University of Naples Federico II, the University of Salerno, the Second
University of Naples, the University of Parthenope, the Pascale Foundation, the
CNR (National Research Council) and the National Interuniversity Informatics
Pool (CINI).
What we want to highlight at this time , is the remarkable fact that – in a central segment of Innovation Technology, which has the most important
International trust of networks (IBM, Microsoft, Sony, etc.) – a young Italian Company, head office in Naples, opposite the former Law Courts,
can have its say, pointing out its great international results.
Eco Controllo SpA has its offices in Naples, Rome and Rumania. It has planned
important investments on foreign markets, with particular reference to the East
European Countries.
